Just an easy 2-hour drive from Sydney or Canberra, Osborn House is a hidden gem in the heart of the Southern Highlands. Surrounded by rolling hills, sweeping bushland and lush gardens, escape the world at this truly unique, bespoke property. Glorious Cuisine

A massive contributor to feeling fantastic is the food we eat. Food truly is thy medicine! And this is the philosophy of Segundo Farrell, who will be creating our delicious and nutritious meals. Using fresh, seasonal, local ingredients (many from the garden), Segundo and his team will make your taste buds sing and your body dance. Food is not only about eating, it’s about the process of growing and healing. Segundo will share his secrets, as well as teach you to cook  wholesome dishes, including a decadent (yet healthy) dessert.

Perched amid a sprawling landscape of green, these architectural wonders feature bespoke lighting, bohemian style vintage rugs and classic cabin décor, timber panelled walls, and a luxurious freestanding outdoor bath to soak in the stunning views. I loved the whole experience, a big thank you to Kris and everyone involved.  I had a wonderful time. The group participants were all lovely and the group got on really well! All the workshops were great and meeting the locals gave a sense of community… they were all lovely. The treatments were incredible too. I loved doing yoga on the beach too and the fact that everything was so easy and laid back, I’m glad it wasn’t a tight schedule and if we were late, it was okay.

Without a doubt the best thing I have done for my health is have Kris create a wellness program for me. I had always struggled with weight around my middle. Even though I ate well and did a lot of walking I couldn’t shift it. Turns out I have a gene variation that means my body has no trouble converting carbs to fat. Apparently, if we were in cave times this is a really good gene to have. Unfortunately, not cave times!! Kris gave me some great tips to work with this variation. Make sure the majority of my carbs came form fruit and vege and instead of putting all my time into walking, start doing resistance training. If I hadn’t done a DNA test I would never have known this is what I needed to do and still have a spare tyre around my waist. Thanks Kris!

FAQs

Who is this retreat for?

Anyone over 18 who needs to recharge and get off the treadmill. If you are looking to reset or start your journey to a healthier you, this is the perfect place to start.

We limit our retreat number to 10 to ensure we can give each guest the attention they deserve.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

Deposits secure your spot on the retreat and are only refundable if you have a medical emergency, or can provide 45 days notice. Refunds for the balance payments vary depending on timing. For cancellation requests submitted with more than 30 days of retreat date: 100% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded. Cancellation requests within 30 days of the retreat: sorry but no refunds given, no exceptions. Nobody books a retreat with the intention of canceling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance. No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend, complete or for arriving late or leaving early.

Is there a minimum number of guests required for retreat to go ahead?

Yes! Unfortunately, I am not a charity and have to cover all costs. If we don’t reach minimum number of guests required I will give you plenty of notice and you will receive a full refund. The only exception is on your flights (if these have been booked). You will need to liaise with your travel agent for this, however I will assist where I can.

 

Our Covid Policy

If you cannot attend due to covid we will credit you the amount spent to use within 12 months on another retreat. The full terms and conditions on our retreat including the covid policy can be found here.

What do I need to bring?

An open heart and mind!

We also recommend you bring:

  • Yoga mat
  • Swimmers, hat & sunscreen
  • Plenty of Active wear (including joggers) for the 5 days
  • Hiking shoes if you wish to join me in a few more challening hikes
  • Comfy clothing
  • All your bathroom amenities
  • A great book to read and a journal (if you’re that way inclined)
  • A jumper or light jacket if the weather is unseasonaly cool

Our dress code is 100% comfortable. Leaving your fancy wear and valuables at home.

How do I get to the retreat venue?

Travel to Osborn House is not included in the cost of the retreat, however we are happy to help you organise this at your cost.

If flying, fly to Sydney or Canberra. You will need to hire a car to get to Osborn House. Or let us know and we may help rpovide a transfer with other retreat guests.
